We were fortunate to be the Stewards for Reserva las Tangaras near Mindo in Ecuador for 5.5 months. We looked after the infrastructure, the hiking trails and we counted birds and animals for research. We conducted tours for visitors to see the Andean Cock-of-the-rock Lek and we welcomed overnight visitors. It was a truly amazing experience in a truly amazing part of the world.
